98 GTI seats in my A2?
« on: December 25, 2008, 10:36:51 pm »
Does anyone know if it would be a difficult swap to put 98 gti seats in my a2? With the seatbelts and all, I don't get a ton of time for my car right now, so a quick swap would be preferred. Thanks

better off getting some recaros from an A2 or from a corrado, they are easy to swap and nice seats, the mk3 seats will be hard to fit

Yea I'm pretty sure that mk3 are not a direct swap. You need to put the mounting brackets on the mk2 for them to fit.

Dan, are you really looking for a set of GTI seats?  I've got a set in my Jetta and want to put a set of GLI Recaros it so shoot me some pics and I'll shoot you some tomorrow.
