Was up....

I just moved to the Azores from Ontario Canada. ( I couldnt take the winters anymore...and Europe is just awesome)

I just bought a couple of euro diesels.

 last week i bought a B5 TDI for the family


and today i picked up a mk2 golf 1.6 GTD for myself.



the TDI will stay mostly stock just a chip purhaps....

but the GTD i plan on some mods like, a Giles pump, fmic and a 3inch turboback, and water-meth.

some of you may know me already....most may not soto all a big Hello!

Welcome !!  WOW !! The Azores ? It looks very interesting there. I always imagined it was some cold rock in the Atlantic Ocean with little more than an airport for us pilots. I'm sure you have quite the story about moving there. Have you written about it? How many of the cars there are diesel ? How many are VW diesels ? Got some more pictures of the place and the kind of cars about ? How does one find a job there before moving there? How expensive is diesel ? Sorry if I ask too many questions.

hey guys, sorry for not replying....been busy geting my business started.

anywho.....dont worry arb, questions dont bother me. lol

im dual citizen, my parents are from here, so as soon as i could i got my dual citizenship with the dream of someday moving here.....

then i got carried away with life in Canada, got married, worked and worked and worked....then i had a baby girl. she is turning 2 on feb 14th.

i got to thinking that if i was going to go it would have to be now. plus i got to thinking that here would be a much safer place to raise my daughter. altough i know in this world you can never escape the bad things in life,  but the drugs, sex, and violence in todays schools is geting out of control.....but thats another topic.....

The Azores is sub tropical, the past 2 days here have been a bright and sunny 20 21 c....i dont know what that is in farenhiet....

id say that there is more diesels then gas here.....maybe 60-40......
diesel here is 90 euro cents per liter

and as far as work im starting my own business here.....
