• I have had a search and found some interesting threads including the excellent one 'project potential' by fspGTD which unfortunately is missing the images???
  
  I would like to know if the standard VNT manifold will bolt straight up to the AAZ block?
  
  If not, what's involved?

• It will bolt up. It puts the turbo lower however, so that may or may not be a problem.
  
  On my Rover. Unfortunately the outlet interfered with the starter in my application, so I found an exhaust housing that was separate from the manifold, and just adapted it to my AAZ manifold.
