I had to get different light mounts to use big bumpers on my '90 and the left turn signal flashes very quickly now.

I always associated this with a bulb near it's death so i changed it and it still does it...

same question, my drivers side flashes quickly but my pass side seems normal.

(Tonight)
neither of them worked, but it was wicked cold and it'd been sitting for a couple days.

my left side did that a few nights ago.. it's working fine now. but its warmer now than it was then... i'd associate it with just a bad connection. maybe clean up the contacts. i just spotted a missing piece in my turn signal lense so water could get in that way and mess everything up.

turn signal flashing too fast = i bulb is inop. Clean the contacts, bend the terminals so they touch tighter, use some di-electric paste to improve the connection.

Have the same problem for my passenger side.

I have a bad connection that needs resoldering on mine.

Half of the outside wiring is starting to crumble due to that great winters we have here in T.O

Hmmm. I did all the connections up front. Maybe its a problem in the rear lights. I just associated the issue with me changing the bumpers.

Did you mess up a ground? Try clipping a jumper from the battery negative to the light sockets on the bumper you replaced.

The rear lamps are prone to fail from time to time. I usually give it a shot of contact cleaner (CRC) and it's fixed.
