TDI pulley mod on 1.9TD crank
« on: December 01, 2008, 12:14:08 pm »
im about to get my 1.9TD engine rebuilt and I would like to get the TDI pulley modification done. Hoever, I would rather have someone who has done it before to do it for me rather then try to explain to my machine shop what needs to be done.

If you guys could direct me to the right person that would be awesome.

However, if the modification is fairly simple that I could accurately describe it to my machine shop that would be good to as I wouldn't have to disassemble the bottom end in order to send the crankshaft somewhere.

Thanks.

John, the owner of VanWonder in North Van recommended me to one of the  guys at NW Fuel Injection in Surrey, apparently he has the jig setup to do the crank nose still in the car.

Post up if you find it's valid information.

Dave does them out of the car, not in the car.  Big difference.

k i called nw fuel injection and they do not have the means to do the crank mod.  They did, however, mention euro autosports and to speak to Otto.  Which i will do when i get home.
