b3 passat cluster in a 91 jetta td?

How different is the b3 (90-94passat) tach from our td tachs? i want to swap in a passat cluster beccause its alot cleaner look, and also want to putt in my DDI gauges anyone?

is the passat td still cable driven speedo? and the alt as the rev limiter?
