Not super hard to change, but put it this way. When i had to do the last few, i was lucky enough to be able to use the tool at the dealer i used to work at. So in order for me to do that, i would remove the whole axle and drive across town to do the job. I found that was the easiest way for me cause the VW pneumatic tool worked so well. That being said it can be done in the driveway or whatever . The old ones will probably come out pretty easy. Knock the rubber and metal insert, then cut away the rest of the outer sleeve out. Important to clean the inside of the axle so there is no rust etc. Then you will have to find some pipe to fit OVER the end of the axle, a long strong threaded rod, nuts and washers and then you should be able to slowly pull the new bushing into the axle. Use lots of grease and be careful, there is an orientation as to how the bushing goes in. Be prepared for a few hours of work.
