FS:1.5L diesel engine and trans (running)
« on: November 08, 2008, 01:35:11 pm »
I rebuilt this engine and its running in a 1980 diesel rabbit, It's got a brand new head gasket and Racewear 11mm head studs. Timing belt and tensioner and timed at performance diesel injection! the injectors have been cleaned and pop tested! Im offering it with the transmission 5 speed which is in perfect running condition.

The reason for the motor part out is because the car is off the road to build a VR6 rabbit. I have not removed the engine and its still in the there to show someone who may be interested in taking it for a test drive or hearing it run before buying!

The car is located in Haliburton Ontario and the motor is from my daily driver that's fully saftied and road ready. the car is sitting in my shop for the time being and I'll be removing the engine in the next week or two.

any interested takers. please feel free to contact me [email protected]
my name is Jeff! the motor is ready to go in and run. it had 255 thou KMs. it's been timed by non other than Gilles at Performance diesel injection and the compressions very high numbers all across the board.

about the other complaint, some guy sent me money and then siezed my paypal making it impossible for me to return his money. then he jumped the gun and complained about it online for everyone to see when really he just sent me money for no reason.

The money has been returned and nothing happend after that.
the guy was a dick, there was no way I was doing anything but refunding the money... end of story

now why did tyler *** me? I wonder why this guy would drop my post like that after telling me that those numbers were good in the shop

As I recall, your compression is in the 350-400 PSI range. Which is not "very high numbers all across the board" but it certainly is not horrible.

The motor  is running, and running strong! Timing is bang on and it starts everytime! Tuned by tyler/gilles themself.
