WTB: Water Outlet
« on: November 07, 2008, 06:41:30 pm »
Hey guys, I am looking for a specific water outlet.

- This is the one on the BACK OF THE HEAD
- Made out of Aluminum
- HAS TWO (2) Sensor Ports.

This should fit any Gas/Diesel VW 1.6 or 1.9

Below is an image of what I need = THE ONE ON THE RIGHT SIDE

Send me an email if you have one or more: [email protected]

Another item I am looking for is the thermostat housing on the bottom of the water pump. You know, the one on the water pump. Typically the outlet faces the BACK of the engine. Well, on some engines - 1.6? the are angled a little bit AWAY from the oil pan. Anyone have what I am talking about? Or even perhaps what year / model these came from.

Well, I need one of those also.

Thanks!

Yes, the lower (waterpump) thermostat housing is ALSO aluminum and not plastic. As far as 90 degrees, I believe they are NOT quite 90... but if you found one that is.. I would be interested in that also. hehe.

Thanks guys for all the emails so far. Keep them coming.

Tyler - Did you find the two water outlets I was looking for?

Also, I just bought one from " ilikevwdiesel " - I want to say that ANYONE buying from him can TRUST him! Excellent Seller, thus why I wanted to make note that I leave Positive feedback here for him. A+ Transaction.

Still looking for more of these!

Thanks guys!

just a question here. Feel free to just PM me the answer.
What are those sensors on there for? and what years used them?
Mine has a single sensor on it but it's broken off and i can't find a wire to it. What is it for?

The sensor that has the "round" looking connection is for the glow plugs. The other (spade connection) would be used for Water Temp.

Most Bizarre. I can't find the lead that once went to that sensor. My connector to it is broken off. I unscrewed it, it's a sender for sure. But where is it's mystery wire? Where does the lead to that sender come from? All i can find is oil pressure.
