silly weight question
« on: October 23, 2008, 04:21:25 am »
So I have a silly question, is the front end of a Mk2 jetta 1.6TD the same weight as a 1.6D mk2 golf?
Seems to me that the jetta would be heavier. I transfered over a 60/40 FK kit from a golf to a jetta, and i'm just wondering if the jetta will sit lower.

The front end is identical so should weigh the same.
Of course it depends on the engine and its ancillaries as well. And also if it has small or big bumpers.
In your case the turbo equipment weigh a bit more but it shoudln't really affect the ride height that much.
