Piston to cyl clearance?

What is recommended for a 1.6TD bored 1MM? The machine shop I used wanted 1.5thou which is around max spec for stock bore, so I went with it. I know I'd rather be a little loose then a little tight, but is this loose enough?
It's already installed and running fine (I obviously should have asked this question here months ago) but I'm just curious as to what you folks think.

28 mpg!!and i can pull down a house!
1.6td in toyota pickup
10mm head ,t3 intercooled.
