Passenger Diesel Cams
« on: September 21, 2008, 10:35:29 am »
I contacted Paul @ KermaTDI last night about A1/A2 downpipes (apparently Dave may have tossed the jigs    :x ) but I also asked if Dave was still doing cams.  He said they will do cams if they get enough orders.

so if anyone was ever thinking of wanting a performance cam for their diesel, contact KermaTDI, maybe enough of us want one that Dave will do a run.

just trying to drum up interest so I can get my cam

Here's the thread on TDIClub about Passengers cams

kinda sad that they are regrind cams  there is a heat treating done to cams to make them hard and when you grind that layer off things can go bad sometimes..

@burn_your_money: I didn't ask, I know the IDI cams were $330 from Passenger when Dave was selling them hopefully they'll be atleast somewhere near that, I did ask how many they'd need, but he hasn't replied yet.

@53 willys: Dave has stated that the regrinds are retreated.

We should try to get some kind of a group buy going.  I would be interested if we could get the price down to the $250-$350 range.
