Hi guys;
I had a clogged fuel filter today but when my car first died, I paniced thinking "oh no; that's it my pump is fried!" :oops: ) which reminded me that I have 2 spare pumps sitting on my parts shelf in my shop that I really ought to send out to get rebuilt so if I ever need them, they are ready! :wink:
So where in SW Ontario can I send them?? I know Giles does performance rebuilds, but I just need these set to factory specs with a biodiesel compatible new seal.
Oh and if Giles can do that for cheap; all the better

.
Can someone let me know??
Thanks!
best to call Gile's yourself! he can tell you what it will cost!
Duane
Uh, what's his email or phone number?? I'm sure it's here somewhere but I can't find it. :oops:
Thanks!
You have a very close option too. Joe Roukens in St Marys is a pretty good diesel mechanic that does a lot of injection pump work. 519-349-2178. He does a lot of odd conversions...... His go for parts truck is a Peterbilt cut down to fit a 1/2 ton frame powered by a perkins.
Hey Thanks Patrick! That might be better for me cuz what with Giles being kinda far away.
I'll see if Joes says "a what now??"

when I tell him it's a pump from a 1981 Rabbit Diesel and I need a Biodiesel comaptible seal

.
Thanks!
Shop looks a little rough, but he knows his stuff.........
You should see some of the vehicles that show up at his gtg every summer! He'll ge ta kick out of an old Bio-bunny.
.... scully.... give me your pump.... or I'm kidnapping my old "experiment" pump back and I'm taking both yours and my TD pump to giles.. :p
