Well I've been driving this baby around no problem getting 55+mpg
And this weekend for the first time it got funny. I think I'm having a fuel felivery problem. When I'm crusing in gear (it's manual 5spd) and I take my foot off the "gas" - sorry I mean accelerator pedal  , it starts shaking a bit, but just for a few seconds. (feels like you're kicking the pedal) I may be just over reacting but at the same time I have a hard time starting it cold or warm. this thing in the past year I had it, always started first stroke. Now I gotta crank it for a few seconds and then it idles rough but again just for a few seconds. Other than that I don't feel anything wrong with it. "Perfomance" feels the same... Same 40 secs 0-60
I fuelled up this weekend at sheel with V-power low sulphur diesel.... Maybe just bad fuel? I'll try try some injector cleaner today and drive it home with it. I did the fuel filter justa few hundred clicks ago.
Any ideas on what else I should check?
Thanx

Almost sounds like a small air leak maybe.
Check all the connections to make sure there are no leaks and/or replace the hoses and start from there.

Thanx I'll do that.
It's just funny that it feels like it's been doing it since I refuelled.... We'll see.

That is a little odd but could just be coincidence.

Well I think you were right. I start the car cold, it cranks a bit.... I stop it for a few senconds, let it glow again and fires right up. It does the same after sitting for about an hour or so.... First try is iffy, then it fires right up.

Probably a leak on the return side I'll bet.
It will drain down a bit when you turn it off but wont leak while driving.
I tested this theory once by used some needle nose vise grips on the return hose. I shut it down the hurried and clamped off the return line as close to the pump as i could get, took them off when it was time to restart and it fired right up. Led me to believe there was air getting in there somehow. replaced the return lines and fixed the problem.
Good luck.

Sweet!
I love it when it turns out to be a simple fix.
