i got a 2 1/4" exhaust installed yesterday right from the stock downpipe, noticed the turbo starts providing boost just below 2000rpm, before it wouldnt till about 2500. and i can here a nice whistle on windup.  :D

installed my Norgren manual boost controller today and funny things happening, not what i expected after reading things in the forum.

first- my BOV blows off at about 15psi bcaked off all the way. when screwed in all the way it goes higher

second- my car does not operate under normal boost (10psi) with controller turned out all the way. I don't want to go higher then 15psi for now. It will get to 15psi at about 3000rpm.

this is obviously not normal.
I am running the boost for my controller from the intake manifold where my gauge is installed. So I found that when wastegate hooked to manifold directly it will only produce 8psi max. under stock conditions (metal line uncut), it had 10pis max. So I beleive there is a 2psi difference between outlet at turbo and manifold.

Anyway i am going to go try something now... write back soon.
