I am the 3rd owner of this truck.
The black carpet interior is super clean and the exterior body and engine bay is rust free.
Not only is this truck a Diesel with 174k miles, but it also features a turbo diesel 1.6 from a 1985 turbo diesel with around the same mileage.
I worked for Audi/Porsche and have years of experience with Diesels and vw swaps and did all of the maintenance, upgrades and engine swap.
Motor was always run with Shell Rotella 5w30 Synthetic Oil.
This truck will get you 50mpg and haul @ss. The motor features a Garrett stock turbo that hits 12psi (Autometer boost gauge on dash).
This truck was my daily driver for years and I can't tell you how many people have asked me if I would sell it.
The truck easily carries plywood or sheetrock 4ft x 8ft sections with no problems.

A couple of things the truck can use
*steering column bearing on inside of car near universal joint. (steering column makes a little vibration/noise from time to time
*heater blower fan (makes some squeaky sounds)from time to time (easily changed from engine side (wind cowel/windshield wiper area.
*rear backup lights switch on tranny ( sticks up sometimes leaving the rear back up lights on)
*finish up coating middle of firewall with Herculiner coating.
*body work on tailgate
Other than this the car is solid.
