Feeler-gonna scrap a 95 aaz

I have a customer who will be scrapping her golf. Just getting some feelers for offers of parts from it .Transmission  shot [ no 5 th at all] but most other mechanical bits are fine .Motor good small oil comsumption [i l /2000kms] crank good, pump just adjusted fuel milage and power good. I will take offers because i don't have anymore room to keep parts. let me know waht you want and i will probably dismantle car in 2 weeks.

I'd be looking for:

- alternator
- power steering pump
- cruise control vacuum pump

Jokes on you, 'cause this guy's in Montreal at sealevel... shipping to your altitude will cost a gazillion dollars.  :wink:

All kidding aside, my 94 AAZ has a conventional v-belt on the waterpump and powersteering pump... not sure what the 95 configuration is.

If it has AC the waterpump and the Power steering are driven by the v-belt. All the AAZ serp setups I have seen have been like this

I could use the IP cam plate and IP gear...Maybe exhaust manifold & turbo too.

Okay sorry everyone false alarm. She's going to try to sell it as is. if she changes her mind i'll re-post. I'm sure she will problems selling because it has New Brunswick plates and there is no way it would pass inspection.

How much is she looking for as is ?

I think $1500-2000. I wouldn't be suprised if she got it, however good luck to anyone who wants to have it as a runner. Not that it's so bad, but i really don't think it would pass any inspection to get it registered anywhere but N.B.
