I'm all natural too. However, I do take a laxative. A bit of paraffin wax helps everything go through smoother.

"Drugs" have nice effects short term. But the long term effects aren't worth it.

I hear that!!!!

On subject;

I'm not running anything but I was considering something, what is the question.
I'm thinking CNG but more for mileage than power.

I think that the cost of cng equipment cost prohibiting. I looked into converting a car to run on it, and the high pressure tanks are 1000 dollars alone ,see http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1-CNG-Tank-14-X-62-Expires-3-2019-NO-RESERVE_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6763QQihZ011QQitemZ320293130087QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW
not to mention that the expire and have to be "inspected" for safety reasons don't even get me into how much it would cost you to compress it yourself.  :shock:  :shock:  :shock:
I would stick with good old fashion LPG if I were to do anything. You can build one yourself for under 500 bucks. And you can also get a cool Carbon fiber tanks at a good price. Anyway just my two cents.

For the miles I drive CNG would be good.
Here in Utah CNG is $.83 pr gallon.

Figure I drive just shy of 3000 miles pr month if all I do is go to work and back. it may take a couple years to get my money back but the operating costs during those 2 years would be SO much less it's silly.

I can get a kit minus the tank for about 1000, then prob another 1000 for the tank as you mentioned. As far as the inspection goes as long as you have a good tank your set. There are no inspections for the tanks required in Utah a of today. That will probably change but till then...

Check with your state gov't. Here in Ontario the MOT offered rebates on CNG installations for years. Not sure if they still do; the feds offered tax rebates. One guy I know that converted a gasser blazer "leased" the CNG tank for a reasonable amount (can't remember what he was paying) but methinks it was around $20/month. Saved way more than that on gasoline alone. Another bought the tank but leased the home "pump" (heated the house with NG) and it "filled up" overnight. May be worth checking in to for you.

This article I found on yahoo. I think its the same one I read the other day. It sounds like the government will give out good amounts of tax rebates but it has to be installed by a legit  EPA approved person.

A neighbour had the home compressor setup rented from the gas company. SLOW FILL! had to hook up overnight, figured he needed three vehicles on the system to make it worthwhile (rent too high on the pump).
