Thats what I thought!
I pulled off the valve cover to have a look see also. The head was really clean in side there. Valve to lifter clearance is good too.

Well its in. I put off any preventitive maintenance as noted before due to the turbo was filled with oil. I figured that if anythings going to happen it will.
I did get another bellhousing that was beautiful compared to the earlier post. I did put in a new clutch set though. I still need to connect some coolant hoses and do a finnal electrical tidying, and run new fuel lines and filter housing.

I did get it running today too. After priming the pump she fired right up. Belive it or not the motor sounds fairly good. No injector knocking or engine knocking. Oil pressure light went out right after it started, and no leaks as of yet. I wasn't abole to run it long due to no coolant lines hooked up yet. Ran it just long enough to hear it run. Idles good, but kind of hangs when reved up. I think because of the turbo seals?
I'll see if I can't get a video of it running.
Josh

Yes it is. I kind of hope its a fueling issue, because the turbo is almost a solid rusted piece. The turbo was filled with oil, but before I started it ,I sucked all of the oil out as to not have it run away on me on start up.
I haven't realy reved it up high yet, gotta get coolant in it. I did find a small fuel leak at #1 injector. Maybe its not tight, don't know, its getting dark. Pretty much its set up to hear it run only.
Josh.

Got some gauges and a gauge console made up using fiberglass. Still needs some finnishing touches, but very happy with the turn out. What do you think?

How did you fasten it to the dash.
I glassed on some strips of aluminium that hang through the ash tray and then can be screwed down.
I like the fact that you put in a cup holder.

Finnally got the time to finnish the gauge pod. I flocked it with the kit from
Eastwood. It has some patchy spots, but over all I'm happy with the results.

Next is to wire it all up.
