pointless, no function whatsoever on a diesel.
get a huge downpipe and a straight exhaust system to the back, you can hear the turbo whining AND it lowers EGT, lag and its cheaper than a new full stock setup

But on subject..

We have talked about this until some of us were blue in the face. We cant find a reason to run one on these little engines.

no ppl not being mean its a serious answer if ur after the noise thats how to git it a dump valve on a 1.6 wont mk a sound
