Ok, here is my situation. I have an 06' TDI Jetta and had a CEL that I daignosed as the intake flap control was stuck, in the last 2 days the motor has failed and stripped the gears so the motor runs (clicking) whenever you shutdown the car.
Today I pulled the intake charge tube off the maifold inlet and the intercooler so I could disconnect the wiring to the flap motor and I found some oil puddling in the intake tube.
Here's my dilemma or question, should I expect my turbo to take a dump on me shortly or is there another source for the oil in the intake tube that I should be worried about. Should I just rebuild the turbo just in case.
The car only smokes at inital startup for less than a second and then runs great down the road.
I would love to keep the car, but I do not want it to nickel and dime me to death.
Oh, the car only has 89k on it, all highway miles.
Thanks in advance, and sorry for the long post.
