As stated, need one for the old Whistle Pig. Used is fine. My current one is at the end of adjustment and only gives by 80% of the IP arm travel I need.
a nice new throttle cable is a quick and noticable improvement to any VW i've found. i also remember them being reasonably priced at the dealer, so aftermarket is likely to be even better price. i'd certainly go new.
I agree with Black Tie. new is only $16.10 at AutohausAz (p/n 357721555A). Youll have to have an order over $50 for free shipping. I have an old one you can have if you want ot pay shipping. It either came off a rabbit or a jetta with M/T.
I saw them on AutohausAZ, but I was trying to avoid paying the freight. Thankfully my father needed some oil & filters for his TDI so we combined our orders. New one on the way!
