  I ordered the first set of turbo 1.6 pistons I could find on the site. I forgot to check if they were a TDI item - would this make them unusable?

• Please be more specific regarding what your engine is. You're sort of going in two different directions right at the moment.

  Those are a step oversized but they are for a IDI 1.6l turbo diesel engine. Those are NOT TDI pistons (TDI pistons have the swirl chamber in the top of the piston)

  These are going into a 1983 Rabbit 1.6 Diesel. Measured bore and it's only at stock currently.

• Your rabbit will be very happy to get these!!!
  These can be used with or without a turbocharger.
  Choose an accomplished machine shop for the boring.
  Perform an intelligent break-in once you get it assembled.
