I have a nice original mk2 turbo diesel Jetta, medium blue metallic, 350000 kms, a nice one family owned car with a good running motor, very low blow by. It needs a transmission, I have one, I don't have much time HOWEVER if I have a buyer no problem it will be installed (I wrench for a living). The body was painted a few years ago, decent not perfect, underbody, rockers, doors, floors are all clean. Rust above the fuel filler door, looks like it was caked with salt for a while and rusted through, total area about 1". The rest of the car is nice and tidy. Typical door handle issues (included) and the wipers are seized (freshly greased wiper trans included), nothing big other then the transmission, the release bearing is very noisy and no fourth or fifth gears. Recent Bosch alternator, cheap all season tires have half life tread, exhaust solid no leaks, car has factory a/c which is not working, not much else (manual windows/locks, no sunroof). I would let it go for $600 as is with parts included-AGS transmission, spare door handles, good working wiper trans, etc
or $900 with transmission installed properly (new clutch if needed, new crank seals/trans seals etc). I am not including a safety, I have not had a chance to look it over that closely just yet.
