hey i have a brand new (but 20+ years old) diesel head,for a 1.5 ,small oil drain ,solid lifter,,,,has a cam installed,,,,bolt on your manifolds,and v/c,and water outlets,inj+glow,and go!! 200us$OBO,,email or post,

cleveland,ohio,hey,,do youneed a non power master cyl,79 rabbit,im ticked,,i just bought it,,and i was swapping the fronts to vented,and kelsey hayes setup(gti),,welligot screwed cause the pistons are sized different,,but allworked out,,i used the one off my 84 jetta td,,,so i paid like 85,,and its only been on car a week, i painted it a silvery charcoal,,id take 35,,,,,u are redoing a 79 yourself???

Yeah, I'm doing it myself, and it's the first one I've done.  I'll have to see when I get my head off what it looks like - I thought I'd have it by now, but the exhaust bolts are frozen and giving me fits.  I don't think I need a master cylinder; but I haven't gotten that far yet, and at that price it might be good to have a spare - I'll let you know, thanks -

yea,iaint in a big hurry,,imjust tryin to offset  some of the screw ups that ihave had topay for,,,like on this tdi,,the rear seal is ipiece w/carrier,,wella new one was 80$,,and when i got it,,it was an "old " style plate/w/ seperate seal+carrier,,,well i got those plates  layin round all day,,1 of those and a 15$ seal and iwoulda been in busness,,live and learn,,actuallysuprised someone would want it,,bet there isnt too many 1.5's runnin around anymore,,
