WTB rear bumper for 83 Jetta
« on: August 13, 2008, 09:41:07 am »
I have an 83 Jetta and the rear bumper is just garbage.... So I need to find a better condition one to replace it with.

Also if someone has the front spring caps for the front suspension (bowl shaped), mine are in ***e condition.....

The project car has been put off for some time but  slowly I am fixing and rebuilding things.....  other projects that do not involve cars have a higher priority

Mk1s look best without bumpers. Save some weight and send them to the scrapper.

We have a Mk1 Jetta Coupe at the shop and the rear bumper is atleast twice as heavy as a Mk2 bumper.

Remember these bumpers can be removed for show.....  this is a safety device and I require it to safety the car aswell as save my ass in the unlikeliness of an accident...

Yeah heavy suckers when there not rusted out..... my old bumper had to endure the hammer and about half the weight fell off as rust....  Not much material to re-weld the bumper.....

I'll check that guy on vortex and the company out in BC.....  Thanks again
