Vanagon (westfalia) diesel clutch uppgrade
« on: August 09, 2008, 08:38:49 am »
Well,  I want to find a place in the US where I can buy a stronger clutch for a westfalia diesel,  now It's equipped with a TDI engine and the clutch slip a lot.

Need pressure plate with correct clamping force ..   up to 1300lbs

Tintin, here is their webpage for Volkswagen clutches.  They have a Stage II than can handle 220 ft. lb. and a Stage III that handles 260 ft. lb., I would think one of those would do great for your TDI motor.
