need downpipe for 92 eco diesel
« on: August 08, 2008, 10:14:53 am »
I have a 92 eco diesel that has a messed up down pipe. The factory "cat" that was on this car was removed in its past (no problem - no emissions on this car where I live) I'd like to put a bigger down pipe on the car - it currently has the spring clips that hold pipe to manifold so I'm at a loss as to how to make one
Ideas on where I can buy a pipe????
thanks!
The fleet
92 eco diesel (my driver turned project)
94 suburban (mine)
69 Chevelle 327 w/hillborn - resting nicely
89 Jetta coupe (sons 16v ABA head swap w/turbo and megasquirt - not run yet)
2000 jetta (other sons)
98 jetta (daughters)
2001 jetta tdi (girlfriends)
03 subaru outback (girlfrie

Is the '92 a mk2 or mk3? I am parting out a '85 Jetta TD (mk2). PM me if interested. John

'92 is a MK2.

'06 Golf TDI traded in for a '12 Jeep Rubicon (the Phatbox is available)
'91 Jetta TD, a work in progress (I'll do a build thread when I start in earnest)
'65 Notchback, a project not yet started
