I got 715 miles out of 15 gallons (I squeeze a 1/2 gallon more in..lol) roughly 1100km..

Personal best (so far!) is 985 km on a tank. Car is a mk2 jetta with an AAZ. Drive like there's no brakes and the clutch is slipping. Keep the speed down too. I've picked up almost 200 km/tank just by driving for mileage.......

I wish I could drive for mileage. I used to be able to. Now I just get bored and start driving hard

Me too. But with everything going up, I drive the limit or no more than 60 mph. So I get passed by old ladies with walkers and kids on bikes.. lol

Did drop a few with the A/C on, but that's my only vice for sacrificing mileage.

Costs $200 to fill up my F-250 diesel, so that sits most of the time. Took the new Jetta TDI for a ride, VERY nice. But I'm gonna get hammered if I trade my truck in, so it may be awhile.

Would cost me $500 if I brought my truck up for the camping trip, so I'm bringing the money pit.. should be fun....
