Has anyone ever put a tach into an 82 Rabbit diesel? I heard of some adapter for the tach signal but the response on it was really really slow? Anyone here have any expierence?

i put one into my 1981 rabbit and one into my 1981 jetta, i just used the instructions in the faq. works like any other tach on a gas car or on a factory td car.
