Wich Cam-plate for AAZ pump?

I need to get a 11mm element in my AAZ pump, nut wich camplate do i need? From what pump?


VW Golf mk2 1.9TD - FMIC, GT2860RS - 11mm Pump.

A later cam plate, The earlier AAZ had a smaller plunger foot, so the cam plate won't work with an 11mm head without modification. I'm not sure when the switch was, but my '95 had the early one.

oh yeah, forgot that small detail...
I sanded my plunger (no pun intended) so it could fit the smaller cam plate, easy to do, even without special tools.

just sand the bottom og the element until it fits?
What about the spline? Does it fit the smal cam-plate?

yes, its a really small difference like 0,3mm

I think there are to much gab between the spline and element?

I thought it had the same gap as the 1.9 stock pin, so left it like that, just made 50km today, my injectors are leaking and the timing was set by ear... so it can't be that bad :D

The AAZ pump with the correct came plate is the model with the adjustable pump timing pulley.

If you have to move the entire pump to adjust the timing, It's the old model of came plate (samll foot)
