But I finally got my intercooler installed, plumbed, and working

I think now I need a new downpipe, EGT gauge, and a giles pump..

I like to think my intercooler setup is very akin to Gilligan5000's setup..... using the saab "turbo intercooler" pipe and all

thanks guys!

it means alot! I've been hanging on to parts for over a year now...

but I like how the front mount JUST KINDA sits in behind the bumper.. and since the bigbumpers are kinda low, you dont notice it until you're looking RIGHT AT IT...

most of the bits and pieces were either recycled from an ABA Turbo a friend and I parted, or donated from another ABA turbo project (some tubes and couplers weren't needed) and some other bits are actually G60 pipes/couplers :D

I got the saab turbo intercooler pipe from a local guy who's doing an ABA in a rabbit.... (some may know, shawn B of the vortex...)

in retrospect, it was kind of easy, just a matter of getting the pipes lined up, modified for length, figuring out how many hose clamps I needed, and the proper size of each coupler I needed...

the hardest part was getting the right couplers for the turbo outlet / intake inlet... and getting the right angles for the battery side..

I've been looking forward to doing this, but I had the A/C compressor in the way so I knew that I had to run a NON-AC setup to gain the clearance I needed on the belt side of the engine.

other than that, it was kinda easy.... had to / still have to trim the bumper...

but it works great!
