How about a TD in an old Datsun 510 wagon?

I think it would be a fun car. Rear wheel drive, independent rear suspension.

Yes, *very* independent rear suspension... in my youth these were kick-ass ice-racers.

The wagons actually have a live axle rear end. The 2 and 4 door sedans have the independant rear ends.
And shhhh...stop reading my thoughts  :x

your correct, the 4dr sedan had the ind.

A live axle would be just as fun though.
I think it would be a WONDERFUL car once done. Lots of room under the hood for turbo stuff..

Ya...a testament to that is Dave Lums 510...If you can fit a VG30DETT into one, any 4cyl VW should be cake.
