well i thought i should add my two cents to this great new section
driving my 84 super NA Rabbit at work one day on my lunch i'm
zipping thru traffic on Hwy 7 in my way to concord from Markham.
speed limit is 80 and most do 100. i'm doing 110 to 120 between
lights and i notice this older two door civic coming up from behind
so i time it just right and we get a red light together with no one
in front.
i rev it up quite a bit and we go, spinning i 1st then go. get a full car
length on him and shift into 2nd. 2nd gear all the way to 6000 and he's
just caught up to me, 3rd gear now and we're dead even to 90 km
he passes me when i shift to 4th.
not bad for a 1.6 NA eh?
