• Thinking of letting my gas guzzler go and buy the Jetta diesel from a mechanic friend. Car is in good condition with 310k. Runs great, engine recently re-built......Don't know much about diesel engines but need high mpg's.  thanks

• Yes they are great cars,however you are in the wrong section. you should be in IDI [indirect injection]. Buy it ,you won't regret it.
