Has your pump ever been rebuilt/recalibrated in the past 3 years? Chances are, it's not calibrated to the new fuel. Either that, and/or your trans is geared too low.

yea whats your highway cruising rpm's??? 30 psi fuel efficient?  that sucks back quite a bit of fuel man, but still not nearly as much as a gasser guzzles

mmm at about 100km its at roughly 2900rpm, how would i recalibrate the pump, should i turn the boost/fuel down?
-MLS race head gasket
-turbo boosted at around 30psi
-diesel injection pump mod
-boost pin mod

Just a bit, what are your EGTs when you stomp on it?

Well, black smoke would be unburned fuel / MPG going out the tailpipe.
1300 is getting near the upper limit, 1500-1600 is on the edge.
If you are blowing smoke at 30PSI than I would try turning the fuel down.

I would go 1/4 turns at a time and take it for a drive. Once you get the black smoke lessened to where you like it and performance is still good and your EGT temps are acceptable then I'd say you're good.
