AAZ longblock into rabbit 1.6 TD pickup

I have an AAZ longblock I want to install in my rabbit pickup. The truck has a 1.6TD motor from an 84 Jetta right now. What I am wondering is are there mods that should be made to the 1.6 TD injection pump or will it work ok the way it is now (stock)?
