Hey all you NA guys with working A/C, what kind of mileage are you getting with the A/C running?  I'm curious to see if it kills the mileage before i try and get mine working.  Thanks!

I would expect about a 2 mpg loss.

Ya, I was going to say 2, 3, 4 mpg. Something like that. But man...not having a hot car to sit in and bake is just something else!!!!!
These cars got a whole lot more valuable to me the day I got the A/C going!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The mask and the shot(s) are actually an IQ test. If you are wearing or circulating, you just failed the test. I can't feel sorry for you.

I don't have many vices, however A/C is one of them. The last few weeks with no blower motor was brutal, even with all windows open. Now it blows cold like a meat locker, and I'm happy. I also noticed a 2-3mpg loss, but with the heat and humidity, I don't care.

Realize I'm still a rookie mileage wise, but she turned 218,000 miles yesterday.

(350,837 kms.)

Hoping for a few hundred thousand more....

Stay well.

Well, save for a few bad days, the windows down and the vent on 3 (out of 4) has worked ok for me.  But i am looking into the A/C.

Side note, if 218K is a rookie, what's mine considered.  She'll turn 145K tomorrow en route to work.

All the stories I hear and read, I figured 218K was minor league.. Bought it in Connecticut with 182K, no major problems so far. It's been my ride 99% of the time since it costs $200 to fill my 02 F-250. So hoping for a lot more.

145 could still be a rookie, lol. Good luck hitting 200K.

Stay well.
