Just wondering what other idi owners are getting mileage wise.

Since i created my spreadsheet to keep track, I've done two tanks

1) 5.94L/100km or 39.58 mpg  Normal driving alot of highway at approx 100-110 km/h

2) 5.75L/100km or 40.91 mpg Normal driving alot of highway same speeds as above. Shut car off at lights when idling and used Lucas Oil Fuel conditioner.

The tank I'm on now I'm gonna see what happens with out turning the car off and with the fuel conditioner.

not to far off from the government ratting of 34 mpg city and 44 highway.

1.6 TD in 85 jetta 38 MPG winter 40 MPG summer (highway 50% of the time and city 50% of the time).

Once when I took a 1.5 hour trip (all hiway) I got 42 MPG.

Depending on how much I run the A/C and the driving mix, my ECO will range between 36 and 40mpg.  I don't have a tach in mine, but the gearing is not good for interstate driving.

I'm getting a pretty consistent 40mpg.

I took off the roof rack and turned the fuel screw out a good 1.5 turns.
I try to keep up under 3250 rpms and drive 62 miles one way to work all freeway but I do hit traffic allot.

cruising at around 70-80 mph I get about 40 mpg.

I dont drive much in the city. Its about 1 mile from my house to the freeway and about 1.25 miles from the freeway to my shop.

I have the fuel screw turned in so far that if I try to get the idle higher than 900, the RPMS will hang.

The wastegate has been disabled and the overrun valve blocked off. Boost pin is turned for max power and timing is set at 1.06. N/A engine with stock turbo stuffs installed. Metal HG. 2.25 exhaust from turbo back. 205/40/16s with pressure set @40psi. 7A trans which is 3.94 final with a .71 5th. Intercooled with crappy S4 intercooler (front mount).

Im sure if I detuned it and didnt piss off tailgaters that I would get far better mileage...
