Injection pump timing tools
« on: June 20, 2008, 08:00:30 am »
Hello folks,

First post on this site so a quick intro before i start asking questions.
Names anton and im fromportstewart, ireland, right on the north coast.

With that out of the way my question is where do you get you timing tools (guage and adapter for bosch pump) and how much do you pay for them?
Ive a peugeot 306 turbo diesel that id like timed properly rather than doing it by ear but any set i find is big money.

Thanks in advance

Anton

E-bay is a good place to start. Also some online sellers have them, probably varying quality, but I have not heard of any that totally suck. I bought mine from Prothe, who sells them on his sites as well as on e-bay. Dial gauge is in inches, but works fine.

Actually, there's one on e-bay,
at the moment, for $80 U.S
   which is about 50.00 Euros
   plus shipping from Germany.

I don't know how to link to
that, but the seller is  rdigerb5315
   and the kit is Item#140242996852.

I'm not sure if you consider 50 euros
   "big money" or not.
