hey guys ive started to hear some knocking off and on coming from the front of my car and just wondering if you guys have any ideas.
so far ive only noticed it a couple times and its only happened when letting off the gas (diesel) pedal going down hill. Heres what i know..
my transmission bushings/bearings what ever their called are shot so my axles do have some play in them and also my car drives very smooth at speeds up to 100 but as soon as i hit 105-110 esspesially going down hill my car shakes violently. unless i slow er down. Untill now ive just assumed that the shaking over 100 was just because my axles are so loose but could that also be the root to my knocking as well? someone told me that it might be my injector pump knocking because my idle is too low but ive never heard one of them knock before so i dont know if thats true.
