Works ok, but is in inches, not mm. You need to crank down on the set screw to keep it from moving. I sharpened the end of mine to keep it in place better.

I have one as well and works fine.
I think what Burn is trying to say is the adapter seems to me home made, it's machined but not mass produced.
The gauge looks to be mass produced just like any other gauge but as Burn mentioned it's in inch's instead of mm.
jimfoo, I didn't think of sharpening the set screw thats a good idea.

Yes. I had to screw the adapter in first, then insert the gauge.
I've got one and it works well. Nice if it was in metric but not really a big deal.
