1980 VW Diesel Caddy 1500 engine parts
« on: May 28, 2008, 01:27:49 pm »
This is a feeler for a bunch of left over parts I have from my Caddy before I sold it, that I must get rid of.  Make me an offer.  I live in San Diego, CA.
I have:
Head-needs rebuild
Block-needs rebuild
Valve cover
Oil pan-cleaned and painted
Fuel pump/distributor
Injectors/lines
waterpump housing-cleaned
Vacumn pump
2 alternators-one with W connector
Single round gauge cluster
Gasser VDO RPM gauge

If you have any questions, please feel free to call me at 619-251-7599.
Thanks, Rick

Hello, are these parts worth anything?  Should I just throw them away?

if you weren't on the other side of the country, I'd get the 1.5 for a project that I am thinking about down the road. Def. don't throw them. Post on Craigslist list as well. Someone could very well want it for one of several things.

The car.... a generator set, etc. Lots of options...no reason to throw.
