HI, just picked it up, I drove the car it shifted clean in all gears, 02A for Passat B4 tdi (1996/1997) and 1997-1999 tdi Jetta mk3, I will check the fluid in it tonight to see what comes out, looking for $400 plus shipping, located in Ottawa Ontario region

I will check the code tonight, there are two codes possible on this model. I will ship at cost, which carrier do you have in mind?

Should be CTN I imagine...from the sounds of it in the description. The other code is fairly "rare" and found more in the MKIII's...

Didn't this come from a B4?

if it's CTN - around 2100 rpm's to go 60 mph.. that is pretty insane
