Any diff in NA and TD cams?
« on: May 15, 2008, 04:23:05 pm »
I have a TD head that has melty damage.  I also have a NA head that is being redone.  Any diff in cams?  Na will be getting some new valves, I would guess after a rebuild it will should be good to go if I wanted to drop it onto the TD block.  Both are mech.

"Making the jump NA to TD" slow but sure.

No difference.

x2

The only difference in part number is between mechanical and hydro heads. And even then, the differerence is debatable.

Thats good to know.  I may need to swap it over to a NA head I have to have rebuilt.  Needs all new valves etc...full rebuild.   Just what I wanted to spend my money on when I need it to finish my half done project.  No ported head means I need to fix this one so I can get to work and pay the bills :|
