just a quick question tho, looking at the pictures, i was wondering what your intercooler was from it looks HUGE.

no airbag, just the good'ol seatbelt.  Bonked my head on the steering wheel still but thats about it.  The intercooler was from Yonaka's website, its like an 18x6x2.5...And it survived the crash  :D

Jeez, a Taurus collected my '78 Rabbit the same way.

Are all Taurus drivers stupid?

Don't sign anything that the offenders insurance company puts in front of you.

The car is one thing, but don't blow off your personal health.

If you have pain any where from the accident, get it checked out right away.  A lawer is not a bad idea either.  I have a torn disk, and permanent Facet damage in my back from my accident.  Over $50,000 in medical bills.

It was over 3 years ago, and things are still screwed up in my back.  I'm going to mediation soon.

Don't let yourself be taken advantage of!

Steady on my mother-in-law is 82 and has never had a blameworthy crash. Her GTD is the first diesel she's driven since driving a WW2 people carrier for the WRENS

I'm sorry to learn what happened to your great car. You walked away without a scratch, and that's what matters the most.

I tend to think that our vw's are quite safe anyway, a friend of mine got rear ended last week in his mk2 golf (front and rear end totally wasted), but he had nothing, and the car will be running by this week's end (fortunatelly no frame damage).

Looking forward to see your rebuilt car!  :)
