Alternator, A/C and PS Bracket for AAZ Engine

Fellows:

I have installed a AAZ 1.9 TD engine in my 1988 Vanagon GL.  This engine came used from Germany.  It has the alternator bracket that mounts the PS pump but has no place to mount the AC compressor.   I am trying to find the part number for the alternator with A/C and PS bracket that will fit my AAZ engine.

I was told that the 1993-1998 ABA engine bracket would work but now two members of the forum have informed me that it conflicts with the IP.  A friend from Germany said that the bracket from the 1993-1996 Passat with TDI (I assume this means the IZ and AHU engines) also fits the AAZ engine.  If so it appears that this is the one I need.

Can anyone tell me the bracket I require to install the A/C compressor on my engine?   The engine and part number is important as once I have this information I can then start searching the salvage yards in Southern Arizona.  

There are not that many TDIs in local slavage yards.  If I cannot find this bracket has anyone ever had a local shop fabricate a means of mounting the A/C compressor?   Once installed there are many local shops that can make the necessary hoses.
