WTB 1.9 TD head
« on: May 14, 2008, 11:22:26 am »
I need a 1.9 head to get my vanagon going again.  I am looking for something that is in good running condition.   If any of you folks in canada feel like taking a gander in a junkyard and find something I will give a finders fee as well.

Hey China Cat, I was just checking out a thread from a guy that sells Kobenschmidt heads for the AAZ and there complete, cams, lifters, the whole complete head; his user name is bleached bora, awesome prices too! Good luck! He also has heads for the AHU and ALH. you can find the thread on the "For sale/Needed" thread.

No worries BB! Man, I would LOVE to get my hands on one of those heads; but unfortunately, I need to take care of a few other things first before I can indulge on new "go fast" parts   . Need to get a new clutch and motor mounts and new seals....and I already put a new tensioner, cv joints, and wheel bearings, but luckly the clutch is the last big thing to get the engine solid enough for the goodies (looking at getting a LUK 210mm kit)! Is there anyway you could hold one for me till the time is right??!!!! haha, I know your laughing too...but I thought I'd ask anyway! Take er' easy buddy!
