im converting to manual steering so i need to find somone that has an extra linkage thingy that they would be willing to sell me.

ok so as far as i know i need the manual steering rack. the linkage thingy and the tie rod  ends. which boot are you talking about......im confident i can do the swap but i need to get all the parts before i even look at my r&p  :roll:

i was looking into that swap too.. you basically need the whole rack & tie rods.  if you can find one at a scrapper just yank out the whole thing.

good for another 2-3 hp up top (possibly) and 1-2 mpg?  :lol:

191 419 063 B is the part number for a manual short rack, if you can find one..

I bought the last new febi one I knew of and shoved it into my project car to free up a few ponies..

correction: I can get one new.. febi, be about 175 plus shipping for a short rack..

Not that you'd need new per se. just letting you know it's an option.
