AAZ part out - round 2
« on: May 10, 2008, 05:48:31 pm »
These are a new batch of parts I picked up today.

All these parts were pulled from a scrap yard. I don't know their condition or mileage.

1) AAZ head, complete with valves, cam and cam cover. No injectors. 2 of the plastic caps for the VC nuts are MIA $50

Might be warped, no straight edge. Has the normal cracks between the valves and also a crack at the precup. It was removed using the proper steps. All 4 precups are cracked. One of the precups falls out of the head. No damage to it's bore though. Also, all the pistons had deep mushrooming from valve contact. Strangly all the valves look to be ok visually (while still installed) I`m not sure if someone got lucky, the valves are bent or the belt broke and someone replaced/rebuilt the head.

2) K14 turbo. Excessive shaft play. $50 - SOLD

3) Exhaust manifold - K14, T3, K24 etc $60

4) AAZ intake manifold $60

5) AAZ vacuum pump with hose - $35

I'll take the Turbo if it's a K14.

I have a 1.9 TD AAZ that was installed in a normally aspirated configuration. Do you still have the exhaust and intake manifolds? If yes, I will take them.

Is that the hose that attaches to the lower block and goes up to the hockey puck? If so, I have one.

I just checked this head as best I can for warpage and it appears to be straight. I can't gaurantee it because I'm not cleaning it, which is required to get accurate readings.
